Catherine presents a new exhibition of works that will entail Lithographs and Drawings. This exhibition will be held at 45 Downstairs in Flinders Lane. Exhibition opens Tuesday 29th Oct 5pm - 7pm. The Goldfields Printmakers new exhibition 'Diversity in Print' opened on 7 September 2019. James Pasakos the facilitator of the Goldfields Printmakers opened the exhibition.
Pasakos is also an Arts Academy-Visual Arts Lecturer at Federation University Australia and Committee Member of the Print Council of Australia. It is a wonderful exhibition that displays many methods in print. Thanks goes to the talented Printmakers who have taken part and a special thanks to Diana Orinda Burns - Goldfields Printmaker and Kareen & Jeff from the gallery who put together this exhibition. To be opened by Kareen Anchen , director of Cascade Art Gallery in Maldon, on Sunday 24 March at 2pm / runs 23 March till 31 March / Open daily from 11-5. Ragini Upadhyaya Artist and Nepal's First Chancellor at Nepal Academy of Fine Art is the guest artist for the show. Sandra Starkey Simon-( Adelaide printmaker) Jackie Gorring and Diana Orinda Burns respond to the exhibition title ' End of Night ' These 3 Australian printmakers have participated in residencies at Ragini Art Village, Balkot, Bhaktapur, Nepal. Arts works left to right: Jackie Gorring, Ragini Upadhyaya, Starkey Simon & Diana Orinda Burns. From the Newstead Railways Arts Hub: "Come along to this exciting exhibition which is part of the Castlemaine Festival Program and take in Open Studios in Newstead at the same time." exhibition 'Mrs Larritt in Upside-down Country' opening Sat 17th November from 5-7pm at Dudley House, View St, Bendigo.
(Please note this exhibition is only current to 25th November.) This show has been supported by a Creative Victoria Local Makers Grant as part of the 2018 Regional Centre for Culture - allowing me to produce a full colour catalogue with an insightful essay written by Dr Jacqueline Milner (La Trobe University). Opening speaker will be Jo Porter, Co-Producer, 2018 Regional Centre for Culture. IMPACT10 Santander - Spain was a wonderful experience and the Goldfields Printmakers participated in various successful international projects.
They were 'Open Portfolio, Rivers of Gold & Thinking of Place II'. All projects were well received and congratulations too all. James Pasakos and Loris Button both held solo exhibitions that were displayed at the Bibliotheca Central & Hangar Hall. We both met and connected with many artist's and various Printmaking groups while our time there. Future projects and collaborations were discussed and are already being developed.
