Clayton Tremlett, is a Printmaker, Painter, Educator who lives and works from his Home -Studio in Castlemaine, Victoria.
He currently teaches Art at Castlemaine Secondary College. Other than teaching, he has run a print workshop, printed limited editions for other artists and conducted relief printmaking workshops in Victoria and New South Wales.
His work has been shown in a number of Regional, Public and Artist Run galleries around Australia. Internationally he has held solo and group shows in England, Scotland and Austria. See the attached CV for details. Tremlett has been awarded several printmaking prizes for his Linocut prints, specifically those using the reduction process.
More recently he has produced a print installation for the Castlemaine Visual Arts Biennial, and is currently developing a wallpaper/installation for the IMPACT related exhibition “FOOTPRINTS”, which is an exhibition showcasing the work of 16 central Victorian printmakers.
Tremlett is represented in several public and private collections in Australia and Internationally. Locally he is represented in the Warrnambool Art Gallery and National Gallery of Australia collections.
