Jackie Gorring my work is about home life, places I have been, people dear to me and not so dear, travels to Asia, events in part time employment, family stories, text ,signage, notes ,overheard conversations , people of my locality and their eccentricities - all these throng my mind and my art in a mix of images and ideas.

Flashes of insight and of bewilderment, interwoven and overlaid and juxtaposed – all the fervor and ferment that is art and the response of the artist to the world around her.
