Two of our wonderful Goldfields Printmakers - Jan Palethorpe and Kim Barter have been selected for the prestigious Geelong Print Prize 2021.
Jan writes: Here is an image from our book GOLD
It is a book Jan Davis and I worked on during the past year together. We sent images to each other through the post. Jan Davis lives in Lismore NSW and we have known each other since I was a student at VCA in 1983! Jan was the printmaking technician then and we worked on many lithographs together.
The book contains 4 of my poems, which have been cut up by JD and reinterpreted.
It was a great project to work on together during this period of isloation.
