Hello all,
I have sent this email to the PCA as well. It has come to my attention here at the Arts Academy that they wish to seek an expression of interest of the next artist to take up the position of artist in residence - Printmaking for 2013 here at the University of Ballarat Arts Academy. Would be great for someone who is placed within the regions - vicinity of Ballarat and could easily commute to the studio. Let us know if you are interested by email happy to clarify some of the details and if they are difficult and I can not provide the answer I will pass on your details to my coordinator of the visual arts and he will be able to clarify further. Thanks Jimmy Hi
Just to let you know there are new projects on the go here in Ballarat and thought you maybe interested in this new endeavour. These are cabinets placed in the walls / lane of central Ballarat and artists are invited to submit art for the next project - ongoing project. Hello all,
I have had meetings with Anne Langdon one of the artists on the site and we believe we should meet soon, perhaps in November 2012 at studio? Someone could offer and we could all bring a plate, or we could simply meet at a cafe perhaps? Would be great for all of us to meet anyway. I am hoping to put together some projects that would get the ball rolling for the Goldfield Printmakers. A) A get together for a coffee or a wine Nov 2012 B) A Print Exchange early to mid 2013 C) A Print (group) exhibition at the Post Office Gallery - University of Ballarat Arts Academy in 2014 Your thoughts here please and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Jimmy Pasakos |
