Marte Newcombe has an exhibition titled 'Grounded'. The exhibition is shared with another artist Ann Ferguson.
The exhibition opens: Thursday 18 May - Sunday 12 June. Opening exhibition celebration: Friday 19 May, 5 - 7pm Artpuff, Studio 38, The Mill 9 Walker St, Castlemaine Opening hours: Thurs - Sun 11 - 5 (+ public holidays) Congratulations Marte. Robyn Gibson will be exhibiting her new works on paper at Art Puff - Castlemaine - opening at the Mill, Castlemaine, Friday 21 April, 5-7pm.
The show also features paintings by Kirsten Moegerlein. From the Artpuff website: “By wandering with intent we circle the centre. We circle the heart of things that lie above and below our footfall – pilgrims walking, wandering, all the while connecting to sky and earth.” (Kirsten Moegerlein) Circling the Centre, an exhibition of prints by Robyn Gibson and paintings by Kirsten Moegerlein, is about tracing a line, a response by both artists to walking for ten days through the ancient Finke Gorge, on Western Arrernte country (NT), in 2021. The group pilgrimage was held mostly in silence, creating powerful conditions for intimate observation and immersion, in both place and self. The works on show in Circling the Centre, speak profoundly of their experience." Congratulations Robyn. Jan Palethorpe's new exhibition of works 'Vanishing Point' is to be displayed at Tacit Art - Galleries in Melbourne from 22 March to 15 April 2023. Congratulations Jan, best from all within GP. "In Vanishing Point, she has taken up nothing less than the state of the world – or more precisely, the Earth – in our time." See catalogue:
